Part-time Nursery Assistant

The role

We are looking to recruit a Nursery Assistant for 3 sessions a week (12 hours) , on a flexible basis, who will :

1. Provide high quality care and support to children

2. Create a safe, warm and welcoming environment for parents and children

3. Provide high quality play opportunities and interactions with children

4. Participate in planning appropriate play activities to support children’s development

5. Work as part of a team with the other staff.

6. Adhere to the 174 Trust Policies on Child Protection and Health & Safety, together with all other relevant policies.

7. To undertake any other tasks as deemed appropriate by the Nursery Coordinator.

Salary:                         £12/hr or £624 per month

Hours:                         12 hours per week – 3 sessions per week, on a flexible basis.

Length of contract:      September 2024 – June 2025, with the possibility of extension.  

Our Nursery

We have an excellent team of Nursery staff who provides places for up to 24 pre-school children, from a wide range of backgrounds.

We are part of The 174 Trust which provides a wide range of community programmes from the Duncairn Centre in North Belfast.
