We have two training/meeting suites each with 10 computers and meeting desks. The centre has broadband facility and one suite is located on the ground floor with full wheelchair access to the toilet facilities.

Services

1. Interpretation
   Over 250 Interpreters with specialist experience in Education, Health, Housing, Social Services, Immigration, Police, Legal Matters, Social Security, Welfare Benefits etc
2. Translation
   Available in over 30 languages. All translators are qualified at degree level linguistics and have experience in specialist language and terms, e.g. medical, legal etc.
3. Interpreting Equipment
   Available for hire, Cyflais Simultaneous Interpretation System. The mobile system is easy to set-up suitable for use in meetings, training, public enquiries etc.

Location

Geographically, STEP is ideally located in the centre of NI only a few miles from the M1, about a 50 minute drive to either Belfast or Strabane.
